The Cottager
Founded in 1992, The Cottager magazine celebrates 25 years in 2016 under the new ownership of Winnipeg-based Mercury Publications.
The magazine primarily covers lake life in Manitoba and northwestern Ontario, but its content applies to cottagers across Canada. Published five times a year and distributed from coast to coast, the magazine’s editorial aims to inform and entertain readers with stories that enhance their lake life.
Every issue includes a feature on cabin owners and their lake home, from seasonal to year-round cottages that are old or new and big or small.
The magazine also provides information about popular laketime activities such as fishing, gardening, entertaining and snowmobiling.
Regular departments highlight the latest in cottage-related products, do-it-yourself projects and introduce readers to different cottage areas.
